These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SmartHub Academy website, mobile applications, learning management system, and any related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by SmartHub Academy ("SmartHub", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our Services, or by submitting an application (including a SIWES / Industrial Training application), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to register for our programs. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent on your behalf. SIWES / Industrial Training applicants must be currently enrolled at, or have recently graduated from, a recognised institution.

2. Accounts and Applications

When you create an account or submit an application, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Submitting false information (for example, claiming SIWES status without a valid letter from your institution) may result in rejection of your application and forfeiture of any fees paid.

3. Enrolment, Fees, and Payment

• Program fees are published on the relevant course page or the Student Program page at the time of application.
• SIWES / Industrial Training discounted pricing is available only to applicants who successfully complete the verification process, including submission of a valid letter from their institution.
• Payments are processed via our authorised payment partners. Installment plans, where offered, are subject to the schedule communicated at the time of enrolment.
• Fees are quoted in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise stated.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund eligibility is governed by the program-specific refund policy communicated at the time of enrolment. In general, refunds may be requested within fourteen (14) days of payment, provided the program has not yet commenced and no substantial course materials have been accessed. 5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials or course content with third parties
• Record, reproduce, or redistribute course recordings, materials, or assignments without written permission
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the Services, including through automated scraping or attempts to breach authentication
• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to harass other learners, instructors, or staff

6. Intellectual Property

All course content, recordings, materials, logos, and branding are the property of SmartHub Academy or its licensors. Enrolment grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content solely for personal learning. You may not publish, sell, or commercially exploit any materials without our prior written consent.

7. Certificates

Certificates of completion are issued to learners who meet the attendance and assessment requirements of a program. Certificates are tied to the individual learner and may not be transferred.

8. Third-Party Services

Our Services may integrate with third-party tools (for example, Google Meet, Cloudinary, email providers, analytics, and messaging platforms). Your use of those tools may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that specific career or employment outcomes will result from completing a program. All learner success testimonials are provided for illustration and are not guarantees of individual results.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartHub Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Rivers State, Nigeria.
